O. L. Sutton & Leota E. Waldron applied for a marriage license on 9 Oct 1888 in Butler County.

Orah worked on the family farm near Evans City, and spent his entire life living in Evans City. Around 1900 or so Orah started working as a conductor on the Baltimore and Ohio railroad where he worked for 27 years, later working as a conductor in the yards at Callery Junction.

On a foggy October morning about 6:30 am, Orah was killed at a railroad crossing near the Callery Junction station. At the time he was driving to work across a private crossing as was his custom as he parked his car on the far side of the track. The train was an unexpected excursion train, instead of the regulary scheduled morning train which he expected to stop, so he evidently continued to proceed across the track. The newspaper account reports his age as 57, but he was actually 59 1/2 years old.

Orah, along with his family were members of the Presbyterian Church in Evans City.
