David worked for Goodyear in Akron, Ohio as a chemical engineer. He and his wife lived in Akron, Ohio where they raised their three children. At the time of Carol's Mom's death in 1994, they were living in Hartville, Ohio. David now holds a similar position in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
