After Larry, Dave and I went separate ways for various reasons, I dabbled around with some original tunes. I still have many of the instruments I played throughout the years, but they were mostly in storage due to the need to allocate space in our home for other family priorities. Now that I am retired, I have setup a music area and have started practicing and playing music from time to time and generating background music for some other endeavors. I hope to post a few originals here, ones that I am or will be working on. Music excels as a medium for sharing, encouragement, healing and revealing the love and nature of God. I've come to learn through my life that it is not the only way that one can experience the love that God showed us through His son Jesus. But I've lived through one of those times when God put life into the music of a generation, a new sound that presented the timeless message of grace and love that came through the death and resurrection of Jesus, God's only son. There were other times in history that it seems like God did a similar thing through music and the arts. I live now in the afterglow of the time where He spoke to my generation, and remember the music that communicated life to me. Though I am older now, the desire to honor God and communicate His love and mercy with the expression of music still plays on in my heart.

One of those tunes that were floating around my mind at one time. I put the tracks down quite awhile ago and just recently starting tweaking them a bit. I may go back and expand on this idea in the future. I've always liked a tune that just hangs around in your mind a bit after it's done playing!
