A little bit about this Texas family...
This family website was first created in 2004 in what often seems like a short time ago. The years have flown by quickly since then. We were relatively young parents at the time that eventually had the blessing of bringing four children into this world which are all adults now. A wonderful, yet bittersweet feeling - those who have raised children will probably understand that!
We are a typical Texas family that has had a good share of struggles, happiness, disappointments and pretty cool experiences along the way! Our four living adult children have started on their own journeys in life. We as parents have fond memories of times past raising them to adulthood and seeing them launch into their own lives.
So now we are taking up new adventures while keeping the home fires burning so that there is a heritage for our adult children to enjoy. We look forward to the “sunset” times of life that follow the difficult, yet rewarding task of raising and releasing one’s children into adult life. The future is always bright for those who have confidence in the love and ultimate purposes of our Creator!
